Europe’s leading online provider of bike and outdoor products started with its new CEO as of 01 June 2018 to enter the next phase of growth +++ Bubenheim takes over important strategic functions as part of the leading European sports E-commerce platform, the SIGNA Sports Group

Stuttgart, 06 June 2018 – Christian Bubenheim is the new CEO of internetstores, Europe’s leading online provider of bike and outdoor products, and takes the lead in the next phase of growth at internetstores. As member of the executive team since 2015, Bubenheim most recently had a leading role at Scout24 AG during its initial public offering, being responsible for the AutoScout24 business. Previously, he worked at Amazon in the Prime and Consumables sectors for six years.

Bubenheim is one of the internationally best-known and respected German E-commerce managers, and has extensive experience in the fields of Buy & Build and the successful acquisition and integration of online businesses. internetstores is part of the SIGNA Sports Group, the sports E-commerce platform with the highest turnover in Continental Europe, and on the back of profitable growth, one of the leading online providers in the bike and outdoor sector.
