Dr. Stephan Zoll named as CEO of the SIGNA Sports Group

Growth course continues

Berlin, 16 April 2018 – Europe’s largest online sports retailer, SIGNA Sports Group, wants to continue growing and has therefore named a new CEO: Dr. Stephan Zoll, who has been the CEO and a member of the top management of eBay Germany and eBay Europe, will take over the helm at SIGNA Sports Group, headquartered in Berlin, as at 1 July 2018.

Stephan Zoll will be responsible for the sports retail business with market leaders Internetstores, Tennis-Point, Outfitter and Stylefile. The CEO, who hails from Hamburg, was most recently Online Manager for the Sears retail group in the US. He is internationally regarded as one of the leading e-commerce experts and, with his expertise and network, he will be able to further promote the European and international expansion of the SIGNA Online Sports-Companies.

In addition to his new role as the Group’s CEO, Stephan Zoll will also take over as acting Managing Director of Internetstores. Markus Winter is leaving the company by mutual agreement.
